Windows Vista Application Compatibility Update

On the 'official' launch day of Windows Vista (30th January 2007), an update was made available on the Microsoft downloads site which provided some updates for Microsoft Money 2005 and 2006 with Windows Vista (all versions).

This update, which is also available through Windows update, fixes some issues in those two versions of Money (along with updates for 50 or more other programs). Included in these fixes is the ability to download OFX statements without error.

Note that there are unlikely to be any updates for Money 2004 for Vista (even though this has similar OFX download issues), because it is now outside of the product lifecycle (Article 89).

To obtain the update, use Windows Update to download the latest Application Compatibility Patch (943302)

Details on other programs enhanced through the patch can be found in the Microsoft Knowledgebase, article 943302.

Notes: KB 943302 supercedes KB 935280 and KB 932246.
