Microsoft Money 2006 adds a number of new or improved (in features. These are:

• Track spending in unlimited categories
• Automated price quotes to keep your investment portfolio up-to-date
• Quick bill payment with Multiple Bill Pay
• Backup to CD or DVD
• Improved account and transaction matching
• Management of Exchange Traded Funds

In the Home and Business version, there are also the following:

• Easy-to-use tools for invoicing, cash flow management, tax planning, inventory tracking, online payroll management, and income and expense categorization.
• Payroll for Microsoft Money by PayCycle calculates and prints paychecks, fills out tax forms, and alerts you to upcoming tax deadlines.

In addition to the features, the Premium sku offers a complimentary 'value' pack worth $249 and the Home and Business sku has won with financial services to the value of $369.
