MnyBank a Statement File Editor, Archiver and Converter (GPL license)

I wrote MnyBank because my French bank did not provide OFX files to download and Money 2005 doesn't support OFC files any more. The main functionality of MnyBank is for file conversion from OFC format to OFX format.

Before adding transactions in Money, I prefer to check the data and if necessary correct it. This is why MnyBank can be use as a transaction file editor. Some updates can be done automatically, using for each account, a profile with conversion parameters for memos and payees.

At the same time, I wanted to archive my banking transactions and to be able (if necessary) to produce a financial file with all my transactions to allow me to move them into any financial software package.

If you don’t wish to use the advanced features of MnyBank, it can also be used as a command line program without the graphical user interface. For Microsoft Money users, it is possible to associate the file extension of a file to MnyBank and the program will convert the file into the best format, taking account the version of Money (from Money 2000 to Money 2005), and send the converted file to Money. This way, double-clicking on a downloaded file causes the file to open directly in the program.

The program and it's documentation can be found here: http://ferraroa.dyndns.org:8200/MnyBank/help/doc.htm

An example of the console mode usage can be seen with an online file conversion: http://ferraroa.dyndns.org:8200/MnyBank/help/MnyBank_Online.html
