There have been some reports of antivirus software reporting that Trojan-Ransom.Win32.Hexzone.gen
is found in the surfinet.dll file - which is a core file in Money. A typical error message would be
If this file is quarantined, then you may find that you have problems signing into Money or using online connectivity.
You may also receive a message to say that the software is a trial version, when it is not.
It is possible
that this is a false positive, however to be sure, you should completely remove Microsoft Money from your computer,
and then scan for any viruses. Once you have finished scanning install Money again and run a new scan. This will determine
if there is a virus and if there is, where the virus may be.
