I see lots of adverts when browing the Microsoft Money newsgroups

If you read the Microsoft Money newsgroups directly from the Microsoft news servers through a newsreader (such as Outlook Express), you will see a lot less adverts.

The links to click to open a newsreader and connect to the Microsoft servers is as follows (you might need to do some configuration of the software if you've never used a newsreader before):

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.uk.money - UK Money newsgroup
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.money - US Money newsgroup

If you are prompted for the server name, type in 'msnews.microsoft.com'. It is advisable to disguise your email address, by using a fake one (eg fred@smithNOSPAM.com), to stop spam from being received.
