When converting to a Microsoft Money from Intuit Quicken, file you may find that stock price histories do not import.
In Quicken, it is not mandatory to have a symbol when creating a new investment. This is similar to MS Money. However, the conversion mechanism for Microsoft Money does not import Quicken histories where there is no stock symbol.
To get around this, you will need to put in some dummy symbols in the Quicken file, with names which aren't used for real stocks, say 'zyx1', 'zyx2' and then convert the file. When you have the file converted, these histories will now be in the Microsoft Money file.
You can remove the symbols (or replace them with correct ones) subsequently in Microsoft Money.
