System Requirements for Microsoft Money 2005

The published system requirements for Microsoft Money 2005 (for US, Canada and UK versions) are shown below. These are the requirements originally published by Microsoft.

• Windows® 98 SE or later, Windows 2000 SP3 or later, or Windows XP operating system
• Multimedia PC with Pentium 166 or higher processor (or compatible); Pentium II 266 (or compatible) required for Windows XP; Pentium II 300 (or compatible) recommended
• 32 MB of RAM required, 64 MB of RAM recommended; 64 MB of RAM required for Windows XP, 128 MB of RAM recommended
• Internet Explorer 6 SP1 or later
• 28.8K modem
• 130 MB free hard-disk space, plus 60 MB for Internet Explorer 6 SP1 (included on the CD, won't displace your primary browser) if not already installed, plus an additional 200 MB while installing product updates
• Internet functionality requires an Internet Service Provider (ISP); telephone charges may apply
• 2X or faster CD-ROM drive
• SVGA graphics card or compatible video graphics adapter
• SVGA colour monitor with minimum 256 colours, capable of displaying 800 x 600 resolution, 16-bit colour recommended
• Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
• Most online features require Microsoft .NET Passport
